New Books
The arrival of new books is always a great moment. The smell and feel of the newly minted pages and the anticipation of the content never fails to provide a boost on an otherwise mediocre day (one weeks holiday resulted in an INBOX with over 2000 messages to read).
Today's haul from Amazon was:
- Practical RDF by Shelley Powers,
- Programming Jabber by D.J. Adams and
- Code Reading: The Open Source Perspective by Diomidis Spinellis.
Diomidis was in my year at Imperial and is one of the cleverest and most practical people I know - the book should be well worth a read.
